Parliamentary Petition: Strengthening Leaseholder Rights and Protections

A new UK Parliamentary petition has been launched calling for stronger protections for leaseholders, including fairer management practices, improved transparency, and meaningful redress where governance or managing arrangements fail.

While this petition is not specific to Centenary Mill, the issues it addresses will be familiar to many leaseholders across the country — including concerns around accountability, value for money, and the balance of power between leaseholders, managing agents, and freeholders.

Signing a parliamentary petition is a simple way to register concern and support reform at a national level. If the petition reaches the required thresholds, it may be considered for parliamentary debate.
